That’s why my campaign is built on the Triple E’s: Educate, Engage, and Elevate—a bold plan to bring financial literacy directly to our neighborhoods, create stronger connections between residents and the Treasurer’s Office, and modernize our systems to make services faster, smarter, and more accessible for everyone.

As your Treasurer, I will make sure every dollar collected serves a greater purpose—helping families, supporting small businesses, and strengthening Newport News for the future. Bring the Treasurer’s Office to the community with “Meet the Treasurer” pop-ups, regular town halls, and listening sessions—ensuring residents voices shape services and policies.

Deploy a Mobile Treasurer’s Office to deliver tax assistance, payment plans, and financial resources directly to neighborhoods, so no one is left behind.

Create and host an annual event that blends pop culture, investing, business ownership, and financial literacy—featuring celebrity speakers, influencers, and interactive workshops to showcase Hampton Roads talent, attract investors, and drive tourism to Newport News.

Host Free Financial Literacy Workshops to simplify property taxes, budgeting, and city finances, ensuring residents feel confident managing their money.

Establish a Financial Empowerment Center—a one-stop hub for guidance on budgeting, credit improvement, and homeownership, created in partnership with nonprofits, faith communities, and local businesses.

Publish an Annual Financial Impact Report to highlight program successes, transparency, and real community impact stories.
